I have come to the conclusion (Could be wrong on this!) That the domain name you use for a website is not important for branding. Although it is very useful for SEO.

I am a strong believer in the principle of having many irons in the fire.
Once you have a good firm knowledge of how pay per click (PPC) can be made to work and how to research different markets. Then it is not too expensive to develop many different markets at the same time.

I thought it might be nice to go through a typical plan I set up for Hotels when a dedicated Pay Per Click website is built for promoting them in search listings.
Mind you, these sames steps can apply to many different markets. In later blogs this ‘How To’ series will be more specific to hotels. But in these first few blogs we’ll cover a very generic set of steps for nearly all types of online service markets.

Five years ago (Working as a web developer) I had a client project where I had to work with an experienced marketeer who had been fairly successful in this clients particular niche area for over 25 years. He knew his stuff well. Had some good publications, some radio work and a very impressive CV.
